Spring Turf Preparation

Every lawn has dormant crabgrass seed in the soil and these seeds will germinate when soil temperatures rise. It is now time to consider the application of pre-emergent weed and crab grass materials to help control the emergence of these weeds. The pre-emergent should be on the lawn before the weeds begin to germinate. Since we have had a rather mild winter we are expecting an early and abundant crop of weeds.

As many of you are aware last season we battled significant issues with crabgrass and broadleaf weeds.  We will review the best needs for your lawn and work together to make certain that we do our very best to ensure your lawn is healthy during the upcoming season. Please be mindful that many yards amy need a series of treatments, not a single application, and a full program may be warranted to yield the results you seek.
